Villa Tranquille

Villa Tranquille holiday rental is located 12km east of the historic market town of St Jean d'Angely in the Charente Maritime region of France. Centrally located so an ideal spot to house hunt or simply enjoy the area. Easy drive to La Rochelle, Angouleme, Bordeaux and Poitiers. Hundreds of km of sandy beaches to enjoy just an hour away. The towns of Cognac ( distillery tours) and Saintes (Roman amitheatre) are just 30 mins away. St Jean d'Angely has local markets, supermarkets, bars, cafés and restaurants and is just a 10min drive.

The living areas

Villa Tranquille holiday rental has a spacious open plan living and dining area. The house has smart tv and internet. It is available for long winter lets of 30 to 90 nights at a greatly reduced rate. Electricity is not incuded for winter lets and is charged per kw at the rate set by the supplier. It is also available for spring and autumn lets of a week or more and summer lets with access to a swimming pool. Electricity is included in the weekly rate at these times.

The kitchen

The Villa Tranquille kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, toaster, kettle, microwave and four ring gas hob. Everything you need to enjoy a comfortable self catering holiday in France. There is a laundry room with washing machine, drying rack, mop, bucket, dustpan & brush and sweeping brush and basic cleaning materials.

The bedrooms

The villa Tranquille holiday rental has three bedrooms sleeping up to 6. The double with king sized bed (160x200) also has a walk in wardrobe and set of draws. It has windows on two sides one of which overlooks the large private garden.

There are two twin rooms each with two single beds (90x200) These are located separately to the master bedroom. The bathroom is between the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a walk in wardrobe with shelving. One has a wooden cot too.

The bathroom

The bathroom at Villa Tranquille holiday rental is located between the two twin rooms. It has a full sized bath with plenty of hot water. There is a shower attachment over the bath too. Basin and toilet plus a storage cupboard for towels, bath mats and the vacuum cleaner. Hand soap and toilet paper for your first couple of days are provided.
