We purchased Villa des Thermes in 2020 just as Covid hit so it took a while in between lockdowns and our other work, to fully renovate the property. The villa was built around 1900 and hadn't really been touched since the 1950's so needed a fair bit of work. Pretty much everything has been renewed apart from the windows and the kitchen floor. Some features such as the internal doors and front door were simply renovated. The rest of the house including walls, floors and ceilings are all brand new and well insulated. The house is now heated by thermostatically controlled ceramic panel heaters which are effective and energy efficient too. All lighting is with LED bulbs. The water supply goes through a filter and water softener. We supply facilities to recycle both bio and no bio waste. Ecological cleaning materials are also provided.

The garden was compltely overgrown but it did have a lot of nice mature plants such as the palm tree
A lot of digging and weeding, decks built, new plantings and some lovely garden furniture
Just the basics but not even a cupboard and not attached to the main drains
Complete re-wire and re-plumbed, insulated and lined, cupboards, worktops, tiling and of course brand new equipment
This room was the sitting room, rotten floorboards and peeling wallpaper
The whole house was insulated, re-lined, panelled and re-wired with new flooring throughout.
This was the bedroom in a similar state to the other rooms.
Lowered ceilings, new lighting, exposed feature stone wall, insulation, new flooring and a complete re-wire.
This odd little room contained nothing but an old wardrobe
We converted it into a full bathroom with bath and walk in shower
We had to completely re-plumb all the waste water pipes in the cellar.
The second bathroom means the house can comfortably be rented by two couples
